Mountain Top Lodge

The breakfast was so good I wondered if they'd accidentally left off an extra charge. It was included, along with fresh cookies and champagne when we arrived. The staff were polite and welcoming, and I felt at home the whole time. We had an incredible stay, and I'll come back for another getaway. 1000/10.

The five-course dinner with wine pairing was excellent, and the staff were kind and attentive to every little detail. Kudos to Meghan, Jamie, and the chef. My fiancé surprised me with a birthday trip here, and we loved it. The cabin was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and a terrace overlooking the woods and mountains. They're pet friendly for service dogs. We're already planning a return, highly recommended.

The quiet surroundings were just what we needed to recharge as new parents on a quick getaway. From arrival drinks to fresh cookies, the little touches were thoughtful and made us feel at home. Every part of the stay showed real care and hospitality. Mountain Top Lodge Resort was a lovely short retreat, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, restorative break.

The setting is a bit remote, which keeps things quiet and scenic and gives you great views, but downtown Dahlonega is still close enough for dining and shopping. There's a lovely shared space, bar, library, TV room, evening happy hour, and a delicious breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, with amazing beds and pillows, and the staff are the best. We love The Mountain Top Lodge and will be back again and again.
