Cooper Hotel Conference Center & Spa

We really liked walking around the beautiful grounds, and the gym equipment seemed new and well looked after. The bed was comfortable, too. The hotel and rooms do feel a bit old and outdated, but I really enjoyed my stay at the Cooper Hotel.

The room was spotless, and there are two very nice pools. The grounds and fitness facilities were lovely, too.

Jay was so professional and welcoming, and he handled all our requests really well. For my birthday, the team made my husband and me feel special: they upgraded us to a King Suite, left some goodies, and included a birthday card signed by the team. The walking trails were gorgeous, and having a free gym and spa discounts made the stay worthwhile. We were also well placed for the great restaurants and attractions we visited during our getaway. 10/10.

We booked months ahead and stayed over Thanksgiving 2025 while visiting family. At check-in, we learned our room was on the second floor and the elevator was broken. My wife has back problems and couldn’t manage the stairs, so that wasn’t an option. When I objected, the clerk seemed indifferent, then called a manager. We were eventually offered a first-floor accessible room, but it had two double beds instead of the king we’d reserved. We accepted because it seemed to be the only choice. The tub and shower had grab bars, but one was loose and wobbly, so it didn’t feel stable. We arrived at night and found the front parking lot very poorly lit. It was so dark that walking across it felt unsafe. You’ll have to decide whether this place works for you.
