Extended Stay America Suites Dallas Greenville Avenue

For months I stayed here, and housekeeping didn't come when scheduled. I was also repeatedly ignored by General Manager Keisha. I say hello and she doesn't respond, though she seems to show customer service only to guests she likes. The place often smells of dog urine, marijuana, and cigarette smoke. Free breakfast is mentioned, but there's barely anything, and they frequently run out of toilet paper and other supplies. It seems management forgets to place orders. Keisha's son Joshua has no customer service skills, just stares at you. I saw him come out of some guy's room while on the clock as I waited at the front desk for about five minutes. He also lets friends hang out with him in the laundry area while working, which is unprofessional. Take your money somewhere you'll feel valued instead of treated like a dollar sign or disrespected by management.

My room is adorable, and I didn't even realize I had such a cute kitchen! The women at the front desk are top notch, so nice, helpful, and accommodating. Tammie is awesome, and Tiffany and Adonous were very kind too. Kudos to management, Keisha, for great hiring. Maintenance is on point as well. Yay!

The room was disgusting, with rusty things and pipes leaking, and it didn't even smell like cleaning products. I was in and out in less than an hour. I booked by phone, though they spelled my name wrong, and was charged for two nights plus a deposit. After I went upstairs, I came back down, checked out, and asked for my money back. The man asked if I wanted to change rooms, but I said I wanted a refund. He checked the room and told me the refund would arrive in 3 to 7 days. My deposit came back, but not the $148 for the two nights. When I called, I specifically asked if he'd filed the refund request, and he said yes. The young man at the desk pulled up my account right away and told me to call the next day if the refund hadn't arrived and speak to the manager. She was rushing me, abrasive and rude, and couldn't find my account. Apparently the person who checked me in wrote in the notes that I shouldn't get a refund because I'd been in the room almost two hours. Nobody had told me that. I asked several times on camera and on a recorded call whether I was being refunded, and was told yes. He flat-out lied. The whole thing wasted my time and money. Do better.

I wouldn't stay here again. There were three major problems: mold all over the restroom ceiling, my room number announced loudly at the front desk during check-in, and maintenance trying to enter while I was asleep. I had the safety latch on, or he would've come right in with his key. Management promised to refund me for all of it, but even after several calls and promises, they never followed through.
