We kept our reservation because we needed this location, even after seeing bad reviews from the renovation period, and I’m glad we did. Our room has been redone and is beautiful, clean, roomy, and laid out well. The front desk staff were excellent, and free secure parking was a big plus. Costco is across the way, with easy access to 75 and 635. One elevator was out, but that was a minor glitch. For the price, especially with breakfast included, we’d recommend it and stay again.

The living room style room layout gave us a comfortable, roomy feel, and the room was clean and well arranged. Staff were welcoming throughout. The location is handy, close to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center and right off the highway, so getting around was easy. I’m new to Hyatt after mostly using Hilton, and this stay met my expectations even though I’m picky about hotels. A solid, comfortable visit at Hyatt Place Dallas/Park Central.

The front desk staff and general manager were polite, quick to respond, and clearly wanted to help with the booking problem I had. They treated me with real respect and went beyond what I expected to meet my needs. I really appreciate their professionalism and customer service.

We were put in a room right beside the broken elevator, even though the hotel wasn’t full. Its door slammed every time it closed, and we had to listen to that all night. The night crew knew it was broken and should have used some common sense about filling rooms next to it. I told the staff about it, and I’m very disgruntled. I don’t know how that elevator passed inspection, and I’m sure the fire marshal would want to ride it.

We booked weeks ahead for a cheer competition and drove in from another state, only to be told there was no room for us or anything that could accommodate our family of five. It was a busy competition weekend, so finding another hotel was not easy. Terrible way to do business. Do better.
