Hyatt Place DFW

For an unexpected layover, this was a decent place to stay. The breakfast buffet had a good number of options, and I appreciated having a gym and Peloton, though the bike would be better moved away from the viewing window. The shuttle was easy to use, just take care not to mix it up with the Hyatt Regency. The mattress was much too soft for me.

The hotel is only about three minutes from DFW Rental Car Return, which made returning our rental the next day easy. Our overnight stay was just right, with comfortable, spacious rooms and kind, helpful front desk staff. The location is excellent. We could hear noise from the floor above, but since we were there for just one night, it wasn’t a big deal. We’d stay again if we needed to.

Aunt Debbie and the staff working yesterday and this morning were wonderful. They helped me every step of the way and showed so much kindness and professionalism when my flights kept getting cancelled. After the storm cancelled my flight, I arrived from London four hours late at 1:00am, and they still made sure I got picked up from the airport. When my next flight was cancelled the following day, they helped with my room request and got me on the shuttle again without hesitation. I’m so grateful for the care they showed during such a stressful trip, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

The location was quiet and about 20 minutes from downtown, and I liked the gym and pool. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Staff were some of the nicest I’ve met, especially the cafeteria ladies, who kept refilling the food and offered to take plates whenever needed. I’d consider this hotel again if I’m in the area.
