Breakfast was about the same price whether I ordered from the menu or took the buffet, so I chose the menu to get something freshly made. The entrance was under construction, which really took away from the upscale feel inside. Hopefully that work will be finished soon. My suite was very nice and quiet, even though it was behind the elevator. I saw a standard room and found it disappointing because of its small size, so I’d probably upgrade to a suite next time. The location is handy, just off 75 near NorthPark Mall, with quick driving access around central Dallas.

The lobby was the best part of this typical corporate hotel: clean, modern, and the nicest area on the property. Parking was easy, though it felt rather open and not very secure for the neighborhood, even though nothing happened. The rooms were okay, but unremarkable, and the rest of the hotel is showing its age and could use updates. I could hear the elevators and the AC switching on and off pretty loudly, which made it harder to relax. Fine for a short stay, but don’t expect anything above average.

The buffet was $24, which felt wild given how bland the food was. It had fewer options than buffets at lower-star hotels, and it was some of the blandest breakfast food I’ve had in Texas. The hotel itself was older but nice enough, with big rooms. It’s a pleasant enough place to stay, just don’t eat here.

I’ve been an Honors member for 15 years, a Diamond member for most of that time, and I’ve never had customer service this poor over a simple request for an accurate receipt. The one I received doesn’t show my stay and payment method correctly. I’ve called four times, been transferred, and opened a chat asking for help, but nothing has happened. I was told a supervisor would contact me, and still haven’t heard anything. The hotel staff won’t respond either. It’s absurd that nobody can handle such a straightforward request.
