Marriott Dallas Uptown

The breakfast restaurant was completely packed on New Year’s Day, but Kathy at the M Club stayed calm, professional, and attentive to everyone. She made a point of checking on guests so no one got overlooked in the rush. When things started running low, she even went to find more eggs for people, including me. That kindness and initiative really impressed me. It’s rare to get that level of care on a busy holiday morning. Kathy brings top-tier service and makes the M Club experience better. I kept thinking about how exceptional she was, so I wanted to write this. Marriott is lucky to have her, she’s a real asset to the brand.

The pool was perfect and everything was clean, which made it easy to relax. The Good Graces restaurant was delicious at every meal, and room service was great and reasonably priced. The staff went above and beyond every time we interacted with them. We also loved the decor and architecture. I'd recommend this place without hesitation. Thanks, Marriott team, we'll be back!

On my second morning, I called down and Ms. Toni answered. She brightened my whole day. She’s one of the kindest people I’ve met and really lives up to Marriott’s “speaking with a smile in your voice” standard. This was my first stay at Marriott Dallas Uptown, and I’ll be back. The service and cleanliness are my top priorities when I travel, and both were excellent. Jasmine was pleasant at check-in. When another guest gave her a hard time about being unable to print something, she and Cody handled it with grace and professionalism. The hallways smelled great, the elevators were free of trash, and my room was spotless and comfortable. For context, I’m a Director of Front Office for a JW Marriott, so I can be particular about these things. Highly recommend!

The lounge access was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast there was delicious and fresh, with plenty to choose from: eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, parfaits, cereal, and oatmeal. The coffee machine could make lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, and other coffeehouse-style drinks. It had a few problems at first, but they fixed them quickly. While it was out of service, the club concierge made me a latte, and it was delicious. We didn't use the heated pool, though plenty of people were enjoying it. Everyone we met on staff was welcoming and friendly, and we came back to our room on the first night to find a chocolate cake slice decorated with “happy birthday,” a signed card, and a small floral arrangement for my wife. I hadn't requested any of it, so it was a lovely surprise for her birthday weekend in late December 2025. The hotel is beautiful and well located for walking to many top notch restaurants and bars in Uptown Dallas. Our room was clean and odor free, the bed comfortable, the linens soft, and the bathroom spacious, with great shower pressure. We also had drinks and an appetizer at the onsite Good Graces restaurant and sat on the outdoor patio. December in Texas was unusually warm, which made for a nice evening out there. It's an excellent hotel with an amazing staff. We'll definitely return and book lounge access again.
