Michelle made check-in so easy. She helped confirm the important details for our group reservation and even found a way to get me a quick breakfast after a really long morning, though the kitchen had just closed. She was warm and friendly, and put me at ease before a hectic work week. It was one of the nicest hotel interactions I’ve had. The hotel’s in a great location and the rooms are clean and very nice. The staff’s service is what really stands out. Great job.

I loved the calm, almost zen feel at AC Dallas on Commerce Street. It was a great place to unwind from check-in through the whole stay. The bedding was incredible, and I was happy to get extra pillows. I like 8! Nobody judges me for it, so thanks! The lobby is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for journalling or reading a book or two. Like other AC’s, the design feels smart, light, elegant, and still fun. Francisco was so kind and fun at the lobby bar and breakfast areas. He handled everything with ease and grace, like it was his own home. The gym is open 24 hours, which is handy for travelers dealing with jet lag, and the machines are clean and new. Bring your swimming trunks too, the indoor pool is very clean and quite serene. Thanks, AC Dallas. We loved our stay and all the things you do to make it special. Bad weather canceled my flight, so I had to cancel my room at the last minute. I called several times to ask about a refund. The front desk twice said a manager would call me, but nobody ever did. I travel for work and spend a lot with Marriott. Even if they weren’t going to refund me, I expected better customer service.

I’ve stayed here several times and have always been happy with it. The prices and location are great. Francisco in the restaurant is wonderful too. He recently helped me track down something I’d lost, and I’m really grateful!

The location makes up for a lot. The food was delicious and the staff were so sweet. The room was beautiful, the view was nice, and it was a pleasant stay, but I probably wouldn’t come back. Housekeeping was only every other day. I had to ask for fresh towels and wait until the next morning to get them. I also asked what time I should leave the room so they could clean, but no one answered. The room finally got cleaned on my last night, just once during my four-night stay. The elevator was unreliable too. Several times it never came to my floor, so I took the stairs. Those were really my only complaints.
