Hyatt Regency Dallas

My wife and mother-in-law stayed here after arriving late on March 7/8, and the problems started right away. There was repeated noise in the hallway and nearby rooms, possibly above or below too. The next morning, another guest openly said they were having a birthday gathering, with children running through the halls. The walls and floors seemed paper-thin, and the hotel didn’t feel managed for basic quiet. Housekeeping was another issue. Daily service was clearly indicated and requested, but the room wasn’t cleaned. When we called, staff brought towels in a plastic bag, without refreshing the room or providing proper amenities. My wife even reused the bag to collect trash because housekeeping still hadn’t come. The food they called room service arrived in a brown paper takeout bag, with no utensils, place setting, or condiments. It was mediocre, and we could have gotten the same sort of delivery from DoorDash. We expected a reliable, full-service stay from Hyatt Regency Dallas. The property feels old, but that doesn’t excuse missed housekeeping, poor amenities, or subpar service. This didn’t feel like a four-star hotel, barely a three-star experience at best. I wouldn’t recommend it without major improvements to noise control, housekeeping, and basic service.

Martin from the valet team was so kind and patient, and took great care of my car. His professionalism made it clear he cares about giving guests a good experience. I had an amazing time at the Hyatt Regency. Thanks so much, Martin, keep up the great work!

Michelle Tagovailoa, the Guest Experience Manager, welcomed us by email before we arrived. I’d mentioned I was traveling with my 3-year-old daughter, and the team was thoughtful and accommodating. We were upgraded to a spacious terrace suite that worked perfectly for our family, and found a handwritten welcome note and sweet treats waiting in the room. Throughout our stay, everyone treated us with genuine care and respect. As Globalists, checkout was seamless, and Michelle made sure all eligible charges were taken care of. It was a memorable visit to Hyatt Regency Dallas, and we’ll definitely be back. I highly recommend it for the hospitality and attention to detail.

The seminar was enjoyable, and the ambiance was beautiful with delicious food. We valet parked, so leaving for lunch wasn’t really possible. We didn’t see any eateries within walking distance, though we were new to the area and may not have known where to look. I can’t speak to the rooms since we were there for the seminar.
