Interstate Motel by OYO Rooms

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the cash deposit. They returned it the next morning after a quick room inspection, no questions asked. The room was clean and quiet, and I slept well. They helped us quickly. It's nothing fancy, but for the price you get what you get. I just wish there'd been shampoo.

Breakfast had a pretty big menu and tasted good. The room was clean, and it was clear they'd paid attention to details, with bottled water and toiletries provided. We arrived before check-in time and the room was ready. Reception was friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The breakfast staff could smile and say hello, though, and then it would've been a perfect score.

The rooftop spot was a nice extra. Our twin room was a good size, with comfortable beds, a choice of pillows, and fresh towels each day if we needed them. Service was excellent. Breakfast was more than enough: tasty pastries and bread, meat and cheese, eggs or an omelet cooked to order, freshly squeezed juice, plus coffee and chocolate. Snacks, juice, tea, and coffee were available all day until 10 pm.

We felt unsafe and pretty unsettled here. While we were out, we thought someone had been in our room because there were shoe prints in the shower. For two nights, we only got one towel each. When we asked for more, the man was rude to us and the cleaners, shouting, “I don’t understand your language.” The room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we had to wait, and check-in was difficult. They also required a $50 cash deposit. Management were rude and hard to understand. I do NOT recommend this place.
