Edgar was a great tour guide. The view and amenities were everything I wanted in an apartment. I'd definitely recommend leasing here if you like staying in and having fun.

After five months at The Ascent, I'm glad I waited to review so I could share an honest account. I love living here. Moving in went smoothly, thanks to Arath, who gave me the information I needed. This is my first time living in the city and my first apartment since college, quite a while ago. I had plenty of questions in the weeks afterward, and both Chris and Arath answered them without making me feel like a bother. They helped me feel at home. The property is well maintained, and maintenance requests get handled promptly and satisfactorily. I wondered if a high-rise would have odors in the hallways, but deodorizers throughout the building keep it smelling much like a hotel. The monthly events are thoughtful and fun, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Edward, the concierge, has been especially helpful and kind. My one complaint was the weak Wi-Fi signal in the clubhouse. I wanted a nice-looking place to study away from my apartment while in school, and Wi-Fi was a major factor in choosing The Ascent over other properties. After I raised the issue a few times, it was resolved.

I've lived here for years without issues, but since the new management arrived, the property has been turned upside down. They don't handle emergencies or maintenance orders properly, and they enter your unit without a maintenance request or general inspection. Things in my unit have been broken after maintenance came in. Leasing ignores what you tell them and never takes responsibility. They'll even charge you for guests you invite, as if they pay your rent. I'm completely dissatisfied, disappointed, and feel unsafe with the new management. I'll be taking this up with Greystar directly. Don't live here, there are better places where people will treat you better.

After more than three years at Ascent Victory Park, I've had an amazing experience. The office team is professional, welcoming, and responsive, and the building shows quality and attention to detail. The amenities are top-notch, and the location is unbeatable. It's a fantastic place to call home, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for upscale living in the heart of the city.
