The room had no fridge or microwave, the TV didn’t work and didn’t even get basic cable, and the Wi-Fi was so slow it was basically useless. My key stopped working every 12 hours, so I had to get a new one each day. The beds were dirty and uncomfortable. I chose this place to save money, at around $50-60 a night, but even that was too much and I regret it. The area felt rough, with people hanging around the entrance smoking and drinking at all hours. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I hardly ever write reviews, but this was so bad I wanted to warn others.

The kitchen staff were friendly and helpful, but the catered food was below average. We used all the large ballrooms over three days for an event, and the A/C fan made a huge racket. There were five different kinds of chairs, and the restrooms were awful, with urine everywhere and half of them unusable. The front desk had no pens and couldn’t tell me whether there were projectors when I called. This was the Park Inn by "Radisson", now called the Dallas Love Field Inn & Suites as of 11/27/15. The entrance looked nice, but around the corner toward the ballrooms there were many disorderly people, a pungent smell, leaking ceilings, and terrible cleanliness. Parts of the ceiling were falling apart. With several unsecured entrances, security and safety felt lacking during our three days there. City code inspectors seriously need to look into this place.

The balcony view was pretty cool, and the front desk girl and bartender downstairs were both really cool. I only managed one night, though. There may or may not have been bugs in the room, and there were blood stains on the carpet around the sink. I also saw a prostitute getting into a cop’s car in the parking lot of her own free will. Some other staff I dealt with weren’t terrible, but I’d highly recommend staying somewhere else if you can.

The bed was actually comfortable, a Sleep Number, and the front desk guys were friendly. That was about it. The sheets were stained, though they smelled clean, and we only got one set of towels and a dirty hand towel. There were no washcloths, and when my husband asked, they said they didn’t have any and gave us two more towels instead. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep well. We won’t stay there again. The hotel had been rated 3 stars and changed its name to Love field Inn and Suites. I don’t know if they were remodeling, but there were no signs saying so. The lobby furniture was old, scratched, dented, and had holes in the dirty fabric, which made a bad first impression. The room also badly needed updating.

A few of my friends moved out of the "Love Field Hotel + Suites" and went somewhere else. The whole weekend became a joke among us, with "Towel's Got the Funk" from Joe's Apartment as our theme song. There were Sharpie marks on the room numbers, bits of ceiling falling into the bathtub, unmade beds, water damage in some rooms, and the bedbugs were another concern. We hadn’t heard of any, but didn’t want to risk it, so we stayed elsewhere. The restrooms were ratty, and the staircases in the auditorium areas wobbled enough that I was scared I’d fall and get hurt. I’ve never heard of a hotel this bad.
