Motel 6 Dallas, Tx – St. Augustine / Hwy 175

I booked a king nonsmoking room for a family event, from November 22, 2025, to November 23, 2025. I got the key around 2 pm, dropped off my things, and left. I came back around midnight and didn't go out again. After taking off my makeup and showering, I started making the bed and found makeup on the pillows, which had just been turned over, and women's hair all over the white sheets. I used my own extra blankets because it was cold and late, figuring I'd mention it at checkout. At 8:30, a loud knock woke me. I looked out the window, but nobody was there. A few minutes later, someone opened my door and looked inside without saying anything. Luckily, I had the second lock on. I screamed, and they shut the door. When I checked outside, nobody was around. I called the front office, freaking out and wanting to know who had opened my door and why they hadn't announced themselves. The man said no one from the office or housekeeping had come. I asked him to check the cameras, but he said security wouldn't arrive until 10 am. He suggested I might have the wrong room, though I explained when I got the key and that I'd been in my room since midnight. He had me test my key, and it did open the door. He said he didn't know who it was and security would come at 10. I said it was crazy that they couldn't know, and worried someone might have a bad key or that he knew who it was. I couldn't sleep again and felt uncomfortable. The desk didn't seem concerned about its customers. He could have shown more care, checked whether it was my coworker, or sent someone to walk the property. Instead, he told me to make sure I was in the right room. I've added proof that I was a real guest.

I've stayed here twice, and I won't be back. At least they seem to provide clean towels. The shower and floor are dirty, and the internet is turned off. They charge $73, plus at least another $12 to make it $85. For now, this place feels like a rip-off.

Motel 6 cf hawn has cameras in the rooms.

Really good place.
