Sheraton Dallas Hotel

The front desk service was great, and the workers in the lounge were so welcoming. I stayed over Valentine's Day weekend with my girlfriend, and we loved the executive suite upgrade. The views of the Downtown city were nice, and we enjoyed having lounge access. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The gym is spacious, packed with equipment, and looks out over the pool. But the big windows let in so much sun that it gets uncomfortably warm, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks. Large chunks of dirt and debris stayed on the floor and yoga mats throughout our stay. The gym could use better cleaning and cooler temperatures. Downtown is a great location. Staff were average, with some friendly and accommodating people and some who weren’t. The rooms were average too, and the main floor looked nicer than the rooms and their finishes.

Staff handled a very busy convention weekend efficiently, and there were no service issues for me. The bell stand kindly held my bags until the room was ready, and they honored my request to skip daily housekeeping. My 25th-floor room had a great city view, a comfy bed, cold AC, a fridge that kept drinks cold, and a spacious bathroom. There was a faint recurring hum from the nearby elevator banks when they ran. It didn’t bother me, but light sleepers may notice it. The public areas and convention and meeting spaces were clean and well maintained. The website says the pool is heated, but I couldn’t swim in it at 8am on a 65° morning. Better to go after lunch. It’s a great downtown hotel with very convenient DART access.

I stayed one night on 02/07/2026 for a concert at American Airlines Center, and the location was convenient for the venue. Check-in was easy, service was great, and I didn’t need anything after that. My clean, comfortable room was on the 29th floor of the South Tower, though the guest rooms are dated and the building is showing its age. I could hear loud vehicle exhaust from below until early morning, but I still slept well. For the price I paid, I can’t complain. If I’d paid more, the value wouldn’t have been there. It worked for an overnight trip, and I’d stay again for my next concert at American Airlines Center.
