Everything about The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas feels high end, from the lobby through the dining areas. The property is beautiful, spotless, and clearly maintained with care and attention to detail. It has an upscale atmosphere and is truly one of the nicest facilities in Dallas.

Fearing’s Restaurant and the lounges make dining here feel special, and the newly reimagined spa is a calm urban retreat. The outdoor pool and 24 hour fitness center are nice ways to recharge, while the concierge team makes things feel easy and thoughtful. The rooms and suites are plush and carefully appointed, with city views and an atmosphere suited to a getaway or special occasion. Recent multi million dollar renovations have brought contemporary design throughout. From the elegant lobby onward, this Uptown Dallas landmark combines polished service with timeless style, and guests feel cared for. Every part of the stay feels gracious and considered. I’d recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas for refined comfort and memorable hospitality in the heart of the city.

For the price, I’d choose the Crescent Court over this property. The rooms and experience you can get there are far better for what you pay, and I’d also recommend the Mansion or the Swexan any day. This place is usually the most expensive luxury option in Dallas, yet the service doesn’t measure up to other high end properties. I think the Ritz name attracts demand from people who aren’t familiar with the other Dallas hotels, since there aren’t other standout national luxury hotel brands in town right now. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.

Everyone at checkout came over to congratulate us and wish us well, and the whole staff were such a joy. Frankie was wonderful when she brought room service, and made us feel celebrated. After my boyfriend, now my fiancée, proposed on Sunday, we spent a night here as he’d planned. He’d worked with Suha in advance to decorate the room with flowers, balloons, and champagne, and it all looked beautiful. Word got around that we were celebrating our engagement, and they upgraded us to the most gorgeous suite, fit for royalty. We’ll always cherish that night and this hotel, and hope to return for years. Thanks to everyone who made it so special.

Fearing’s was good for both breakfast and dinner, though I didn’t find the food outstanding, even knowing it’s a Michelin recommended Dallas restaurant. Still, my stay at this five star hotel was excellent, and I’ll likely return. I was in town mainly to visit the nearby museums, and the lobby and bar were terrific, with two Frank Stella paintings. The rooms and facilities seemed fairly new or recently renovated, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
