The Westin Dallas Park Central

I expected The Westin Dallas Park Central to be a nice place with good service, but the room and service didn’t impress me. There was a strong smell, maybe detergent, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the bed looked unmade. Around the toilet and in the tub there was dirt or buildup that made it look as if it hadn’t been cleaned. I also found long hairs by the sink. The second day’s cleaning wasn’t any better. The sheets were wrinkled and not tucked in properly, and there was debris on them, as if the maid had been on the bed. The phone didn’t work. I called room service to ask for a list of stations and was told someone would come, but no one showed up. It was a bad experience, with no follow-up on my request. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I read the reviews and saw that other people weren’t happy either.

It was easy to get in and out of the garage with the hotel room key, which was a big plus, even though parking there costs over $20. The downstairs shop closes at 10 PM, so drinks and snacks aren’t available after that, but the restaurant stays open until 11 and helps make up for it. We had a very comfortable stay at The Westin Dallas Park Central, and I’d absolutely come back. Service was outstanding from start to finish, with immediate replies to everything we asked for. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh omelets made to order and a great selection. The restaurant downstairs was very good and made eating during our stay easy and enjoyable.

I came from another state to have spinal surgery in the great state of Texas, and James Bryant, Hospitality Ambassador, was awesome. As soon as my Lyft pulled up, Mr. Bryant got a wheelchair and took me to my room. He absolutely didn’t have to do that. He could’ve handed me the wheelchair and just asked if I needed help. Instead, he said, “Let me help you get everything!” When the world doesn’t seem kind anymore, it means a lot to meet someone like Mr. Bryant who actually cares and goes beyond courtesy. Thank you so much, Mr. Bryant. You don’t know what that meant to me.

We stayed October 9th-11th, 2025, while in town for my father’s funeral services. The staff treated my family and me so courteously and made us comfortable. From the bell hops and front desk to the bar, restaurant, pool, and spa, everyone was great. I was impressed by how clean and spacious the room was, along with the lighting and comfort. It made me feel at home, and the bed was super comfortable. Thank you for making us feel welcome. Five stars for everything, and I’ll definitely recommend it.
