After a 10-hour drive, we found this little motel wonderfully clean and peaceful. The sweetest cat greeted us, and Stacey was kind and friendly when we booked our room. The next morning we met Jay, the owner, who’s down to earth and clearly cares a lot about the human experience. We won’t forget this lovely inn or the people who care for it.
I wouldn’t go back. And I definitely wouldn’t tell your wife or friends if you do.
I stopped by to see a friend, and the rooms looked fine inside. Outside was a different story: the location didn’t feel family-friendly, with a lot of activity that wasn’t the good kind. Maybe it suits younger people who want to party, since everyone sees things differently. Personally, I wouldn’t stay there.
I called to ask the nightly rate, and the woman who answered got angry and told me to come in if I wanted to know. I hung up. You’d better have your health inspection, occupancy license, and paperwork up to date, because you never know who you’re talking to when the hotel inspector comes around.
I arrived without bed bugs and left with them. I woke up covered in bites. 😭
