The hosts, James and Connie, are easily the best part of this B&B. Their little touches help guests feel at ease, and they're cheerful, good conversationalists, and calm when plans go sideways. James went out of his way to sort out a problem when I was in a bind. There's generous breakfast, plus snacks and drinks available anytime. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable, and there are cozy nooks for reading or hobbies. The back deck should be a nice spot for sun and breezes once the replacement work is done. An enormous ginkgo tree shades the front porch. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I was already missing the estate as I left. Its library room is hard to beat if you like reading, and while some people might point to the history as its best feature, I valued the hospitality and good conversation most. James and Connie were kind, respectful, and welcoming. I enjoyed talking with each of them over breakfast, especially James, who's a sharp conversationalist. My room was clean, with candy and cold drinks provided. 11/10.

It felt like staying at my grandparents' house, with all the old, interesting furniture and antiques giving it character. We got there around 11 PM after booking just an hour earlier, and check-in was easy. There was a personalized welcome note waiting at the front door. Breakfast was made for us, and waking up to a delicious homemade meal was such a nice touch. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I can't recommend this charming B&B enough.

This is a special family home that's been passed down for generations. James and Connie were generous, kind, and flexible, and the room and bathroom were beautiful and had all the amenities. Breakfast was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. They also sell lovely one-of-a-kind postcards made by James's sister. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.
