Sheridan Suites Apartments Hotel

I was unsure about the location when I first arrived, but the neighborhood was very quiet and shopping was close enough to walk to. The duplex was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed. The check-in staff were professional and really accommodating, and the cameras added a sense of security. The rates were great for what we needed, and I’d definitely stay there again.

Sheridan Suites was a relaxing, elegant place to stay, and the whole experience felt cozy, comfortable, and easy. I spent forty years as a very busy travel agent, inspecting and staying in hotels and inns around the world, so I’ve seen plenty of places. The staff welcomed me and helped with patience and charm. The pool courtyard was a lovely spot, with landscaping, plenty of loungers, two shaded seating areas, and a heated pool. Our ground-floor corner suite, #102, opened right onto it. We were four, and the kids loved having separate rooms in the spacious, very clean three-bedroom apartment. Each bedroom had a small TV. There wasn’t a living room, but we were right beside the courtyard. The updated bathroom had a lighted mirror; when the shower drain ran slowly, maintenance fixed it within 30 minutes. The kitchen had lots of useful things: a toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave, full-size fridge, electric stovetop, kettle, and some pots. It could use more spoons, bigger bowls, and a colander. The dining table seats six. We found the area convenient, with Publix, Starbucks, Walmart, Kimchi Mart, McDonald’s, Chipotle, Goodwill, and several BBQ places within walking distance. It felt fine to us. We saw a couple of harmless homeless individuals, but nothing concerning, and the property is fully fenced. At 800 square feet, it was a great value compared with small hotel studios that often cost over $200 a night. We were comfortable and would happily return. All the staff were friendly, especially Misha and Cy.

Travel disruptions threw my plans off, but I really enjoyed staying here. The apartments had everything I needed, and the rooms were amazing. It was handy for shopping and food, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. I’d stay here again and again.
