Motel 6 Danvers, MA - Boston North

I spent a week here with my dog before moving to Florida, and Mike and Peter at the front desk made the stay easy. Whenever I needed to extend, they kept me in the same room. The whole staff greeted me warmly, and they were very pet friendly, often offering my dog treats. My room was very clean and had its own clean microwave and fridge. I’d recommend this location, especially if you’re traveling with a pet. They made the stay much more accommodating than I expected.

Peter, the manager, helped arrange a room change when I needed a refrigerator for my medicine. I’m very satisfied with my stay at the Motel 6 in Danvers, Mass. The room was comfortable, and the front desk staff were kind and helpful from check-in onward. Thanks for making me feel right at home.

Mike Peter Nicole and Kevin and Gigi have felt like family while my partner and I have been staying here through a really tough time. We love them. The room is always nice and made up, and the bed is comfortable. We’ve had no real complaints, and when something did come up, it was met with understanding and respect. We love it here.

The room itself was fine, and the bed was okay. The shower and bathroom were clean, though there weren’t enough towels or soap. I found some kind of yellow substance on the floor, maybe vomit. I didn’t see roaches in our room, but after hearing others had them, I may need to double-check my bags. The noise was constant. Someone next door chain-smoked all night, dogs could be heard howling through the night, and people were loud, yelling in the halls and slamming doors. One person even let a dog pee in the elevator. The hallways smelled like the aftermath of a crime scene cleanup, with loads of cleaning products and bleach, mixed with cigarette and urine smells. It’s clearly a homeless hotel, which is fine, but people still need to show basic respect. I had no other complaints, beyond all the cigarette, pee, and bleach smells.
