Comfort Inn & Suites near Danville Mall

The attached restaurant is wonderful. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed the drinks, too. The dishes come out looking like cover photos from a high-end food magazine. We sometimes stay here while visiting our daughter and her family, and the rooms are well appointed despite the hotel's age. Breakfast is kept well stocked, but it's very basic and bland. It would be nice to see improvements there. I also hope future investment brings walk-in showers to the bathrooms.

The staff are the best, and the location is hard to beat for the price in this area. Rooms are clean, with super comfy beds, soft pillows, a great TV setup, and a fridge and microwave in every room. I love the luggage rack. If you left bathroom supplies at home, they have free ones downstairs, just ask. Everyone is so accommodating. There's a great Mexican restaurant on site and Belks right next door. I freaking love this place!

The room was so comfortable that I didn't even notice the balcony until my second day. There isn't a business center, but the front desk will print anything you email them. The pool was closed. I'll be staying again next week. The hot breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel, especially the incredible biscuits with sausage gravy. I went back for seconds. The menu doesn't change, though, and by day five it was getting too familiar. It doesn't need more food, just better variety.

The decor is dated, but the hotel was clean, and the bedding and towels were superior quality. I was pleasantly surprised by the stay, and the Danville Casino is about 10 minutes away.
