Baymont by Wyndham North Dartmouth / Fall River

I’ve stayed around here plenty of times since my family is in acushnet, and Baymont is my favorite of the hotels I’ve tried. The beds are sooo comfortable, and the rooms are clean and look just like what you see. Yesh, Anthony, and Joy are friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. Housekeeping has been great too, whether I needed basic towels or asked them to vacuum during a longer stay. The breakfast has a helpful variety as well. I’ve traveled a lot because my family is spread across 4 states, so I’d say this is a great choice.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the noise level kept me from giving five stars. Expedia made an error with my booking: I had paid for 2 rooms, but the hotel only had confirmation for 1. Joy, Anthony, and Tash stayed patient and calm even when I got flustered. By the time Expedia sorted it out, no rooms matching my original request were left, but the three of them managed to make it work. The service was outstanding.

The bathroom was surprisingly clean, and check-in service was decent. The room itself felt low budget, with mismatched paint touch-ups, a torn couch, and dirty lamps that didn’t match. Breakfast was just as bare-bones. The next day, my son noticed several bite marks on his legs.

The curtains were coming off the window, and the blanket had dirt marks when I pulled it back, which made me think it hadn’t been washed. The room’s surfaces looked clean at first, but there were smashed cockroaches in the hall and roach spray on the room walls and around their edges. Someone had stuffed toilet paper into the peephole. I asked for another pillow, but they had none unless they took one from a different room. There were literally only 2 people checked in.
