Villa Delphinus was quiet and private, just steps from the ocean, with vaulted ceilings, French doors, and lots of windows. The mattresses were very comfortable, apart from the bunks. We stayed Sept 14-18, 2025, and had a wonderful time. The house matched its description, though it could use some TLC. That's understandable for an established beach house, and management was upfront about updates already on order. Service and location were hard to beat. In 20 years of visits, I haven't experienced better staff than at Dauphin Island Beach Rentals. Cat, April, Doretha, and Russell were professional, friendly, and quick to respond, and Russell even helped with the luggage. Maintenance also came quickly, fixing a doorknob first thing the next morning. Bring extra detergent, dish soap, paper goods, coffee filters, and spices, since only starter supplies are provided. Ship & Shore nearby has essentials. Fantastic location and service, with the best property management team on the island. Highly recommend.

The private pier kept the kids busy fishing, swimming, and watching both sunrise and sunset. We stayed at the Dreamcatcher and had an amazing experience. It was really nice and extremely clean, and the kids are already asking to go back.

We rented this awesome house during spring break in April 2026. The deck overlooking the Gulf was great, and the location gave us an almost private beach. We'd definitely stay again. If it's available, rent it, you won't be disappointed.

The kids love the aquarium and Fort Gains, while Lighthouse Bakery is one of our favorites. We even had a great blue heron stop by ❤️ DIBR is great too, answering our texts quickly and helping with the very few issues we've had. This was our third year coming for our yearly family vacation. We've stayed in two houses, Pelicans Perch and, most recently, Grace Wins, and both were immaculate and comfortable, with that home-away-from-home feeling. The grandkids say Grace Wins "wins" because of the pool, lol. We never want to leave once we're there, and we're already looking forward to next year!

Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and the condo was spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated. We loved the huge balcony and its breathtaking sunset views. Restaurants and points of interest were conveniently located, and the beach was great. We had a wonderful, relaxing Dauphin Island getaway and can't wait to come back.
