For under $200 for three nights, we were really happy with this stay. The king room was comfortable, with a mini fridge and microwave. The microwave was loud, but we used it every day, and the fridge kept our Kwik Star caramel ice cream cold. We had fun with the breakfast spread, which included eggs, sausage, mini and Belgian waffles, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. We used our own avocado and seasonings to make waffle sandwiches one morning, then had berries and cream with cream cheese the next. We also topped savory waffles with leftover rotisserie chicken and scrambled eggs. As an extreme planner trying to keep the weekend cheap, I even took bread and peanut butter cups from breakfast to make peanut butter banana sandwiches in our room, and used the lobby toaster for tuna melts. It was comfortable, affordable, and made eating well on a budget easy. We’d happily consider coming back.

The area wasn’t especially appealing, but it worked for our stay. We had to switch rooms because the bedding was dirty and the door was broken, and in the next room we still needed the pillowcases cleaned. Breakfast was decent, hot, and free. Apparently the pool had been closed for a while, though the website never said so. That disappointed my son, who wanted to cool off after his game. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, though I would if I had to.

We liked the breakfast and the coffee in the lounge and eating area, though the in-room coffee wasn’t for us. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The outside smoking area was nice, the ice machine worked great, and we met some nice people during our stay.

The location is great, but I left highly disappointed. The room was small and clean, though housekeeping didn’t pay much attention to details. Several appliances and surfaces, including the bathroom sink and desktops, were still dirty. I was charged $50 for two hand towels and one towel because of makeup stains. You get what you pay for, I guess. Breakfast was really bad too. Go to Crack Barrel.
