Our room had a cabin feel, with modern furnishings and plenty of space between the sitting area and bedroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the outdoor desk, chair, and couch were clean and useful. We also had a deck with a table and chairs looking out toward the other cabins. The air conditioning and fan were just okay. The bathroom fan didn’t work, though opening the window helped with airflow. The hotel’s right by UC Davis and near the Mondavi Center. We had a pleasant stay and would come back to the Aggie Inn.

I’ve stayed here several times. The staff are friendly, and the rooms have been clean and practical. The bed’s comfortable, though the amenities are basic. Location is hard to beat. Just keep in mind that rooms facing B Street get a lot of traffic noise, so ask for a room on the other side.

The staff were friendly, parking was included right outside, and coffee and tea were available all day. We found the room comfortable and the beds were great. Davis itself was beautiful, with a quaint downtown that was easy to walk around. We were there for a campus tour, and UC Davis was a short drive or bike ride away. A note about the layout: there are two floors, and some rooms open to the outside while others are reached from an indoor hallway. I didn’t see an elevator and walked up two flights, though I may have missed it since I didn’t look carefully or ask.

Clean, modern room and a comfy bed. The hotel is right on campus, with the farmers market an easy walk away on Wednesdays and Saturdays. SB coffee is available all day.

It’s comfortable and quiet, with easy parking and entertainment all around in Davis. Most rooms are up exterior stairs, so keep that in mind when booking if you’d rather avoid the climb.
