Residence Inn by Marriott Sacramento Davis

This Marriott is really clean and quite upscale, with clean rooms and bathrooms, and kitchens in the rooms. The prices are amazing. Everyone who works here is very nice to guests and works hard, and even the other guests are nice. I work here and haven't seen anyone unhappy. People shouldn't miss out.

The beds were the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel, and I fell asleep fast. We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and well stocked, and the front desk staff were really sweet. Breakfast was standard, with pastries, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, and hot food. Parking costs $12 a day. We could hear the people above us all weekend, and the shower pressure was pretty light. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We stay here often because it's always clean and comfortable, and the staff are helpful. On this trip, check-in said we could split the bill across credit cards at checkout for our partly work, partly personal stay, but at checkout the clerk said he couldn't do it. That made expenses awkward, and it seemed like a simple request. A few more bathroom hooks for towels would also be really helpful.

My sister booked this for an event at UC Davis, about a 10 minute drive away. We didn't get time to try the gym or pool, but felt comfortable and safe during our stay, and there are lots of shops across the street. The facilities looked super clean and shiny new, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast impressed us: hot food as well as cereal, fruit, and pastries, plus fresh waffles and vegetarian and vegan options. Parking is $12.
