The convenient Davis location was the only real positive for me. I wouldn't stay here again unless I had no other choice. The bathroom floor had hair on it, and water was leaking into the shower from the floor above, which was gross. The AC was loud like a diesel truck and made it hard to sleep. Breakfast didn't work for anyone avoiding heavily processed food, and there wasn't even one piece of fresh fruit. Housekeeping came every other day, which was fine, but they took the soap I was using and didn't replace it. It seemed nice at first, but looks can be deceiving. I've stayed at most hotels in Davis, and this was the worst.

The front desk person was very nice and helpful, and cleanliness seemed good. It's a good, simple hotel, probably more suited to business than a vacation. They keep a decent range of juice and snacks available all day. There can be noise from loud cars or people in the parking lot.

We were traveling by train and didn't leave until late in the evening, so the front desk held our luggage for us. We only stayed one night, but the room was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a good assortment and was well stocked.

I was visiting my son during his summer research internship at UC Davis. The inn was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Even with exterior-entry rooms, it wasn't very noisy at night. It's easy to walk to coffee, lunch, or dinner and enjoy the scenery. The airport was a 25 minute ride away, and traffic getting there wasn't too bad.

The motel is nice and centrally located in Davis. I stayed four nights, but the service was very average and breakfast was very basic. The receipt issue after checkout was worse. The receptionist offered to email it but didn't. I had to call the hotel internationally, give the staff what they needed, and still got no receipt. I called a third time with my email address and had to stay on the line until it finally arrived.
