Hawaiian Oasis Bed & Breakfast

During our four nights at Hawaiian Oasis B&B, Hurricane Lane was unfortunate timing, but the stay was otherwise perfect. The property is at the same elevation as the Kona coffee plantations, among trees and tropical birds. From the second floor balcony, you can see the ocean. There’s a hot tub, pool, and open entertainment area in the garden, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Nina was attentive as an innkeeper and a great chef, with a real eye for presentation and lots of variety. We’re vegetarians, and she served us enormous, delicious breakfasts without missing a beat. When the storm arrived, she made extra effort to see that we’d be safe and have supplies in case things got worse. Luckily, it mostly missed us. We can’t imagine a better place to have stayed. Thanks to Nina and the owners for a wonderful time!

Nina was the highlight of our five-night stay. She made sure we had a great time, served outstanding breakfasts, and pointed us toward things to do that we might otherwise have missed. The B&B itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms and welcoming common areas. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The Aloha suite was such a lovely place for a romantic getaway. We especially liked the two-person bath and the shower with two heads. The whole B&B feels tropical, gorgeous, and very clean, and Nina was a wonderful hostess with helpful tips about beaches, restaurants, and getting around. We hated having to leave. One small heads-up: the driveway entrance is a right turn off Kiwi, and the sign is easy to miss the first time.

I was happy with my stay and would come back. The rooms were great, the food was amazing, and the view and company were both lovely. I only wish I’d booked more nights. It’s also convenient for driving to Kona, Costco, and the beaches. I didn’t mind since the fans and windows worked perfectly, but air conditioning costs $15 per night. That was listed on the site; I just overlooked it.
