Blue Water Resort

A really peaceful place with great fishing, a fun feel, and a nice size and location. It’s one of the quietest places we’ve stayed. My only complaint from walking around was that there isn’t enough for kids to do when they’re not fishing. A jump pillow or larger playground would make it perfect. Otherwise, no complaints.

Blue Water Resort is well placed for boating and fishing. We brought our RV and dogs, who love the water, but there wasn’t a beach or other way for them to get in. The shaded dog park was nice, although the big water bowl had mud caked in the bottom. I asked on our first full day if someone could clean it, but it never got done. The store has a nice covered area underneath, with a huge TV and lots of tables and chairs, but it was mostly unused. With temperatures in the upper 90s all week, it would’ve been nice to have daily events there, maybe ice cream, watermelon, or a keg. Looking back, I wish we’d done more research before booking our RV camping stay.

I didn’t want to leave and head home. Everything was so clean and pretty, and the place is peaceful. Heather was really friendly, and Otis was kind and helpful. The staff are awesome. It’s a must visit and stay, and I’ll be back. The river house is a must stay, too.

We had such a nice cabin, and the staff were very accommodating. Our cleaning lady was especially sweet. I’ll definitely come back.
