The two Hispanic cleaning ladies are wonderful. They’re sweet and clean things quickly and perfectly on the days they work. The breakfast was okay, though if the cream and sugar ran out, asking for more felt like begging. The hotel often smelled like wet dog or pool chemicals. If you stay, book online if you can, because booking at the desk costs almost double. They also seem irritated if you use Wyndham points for a free night. Lock your card after paying if you can. We had random charges from them twice, though they fixed them quickly. I was repeatedly followed to my room by another male guest who made several sexual comments. It got so uncomfortable that I recorded it. My husband and I went to the front desk and made a small complaint, simply asking if they could get him to stop. The next morning we were told to leave. Two managers, one man and one woman, told me I should have ignored him. The woman was incredibly rude, as if I had personally blamed her. I was treated like I’d done something wrong for making a minor complaint, while the man following me and other women around faced no consequences. We had to leave during a snowstorm when it was 10 below zero. When I asked why, the woman said they were a privately owned business and could ask anyone to leave, then said that if we didn’t feel safe, we should leave. My mother, who is 67 and uses a wheelchair, was with us. The ramp and sidewalks were piled with snow, and I took pictures. They also put out an elderly couple who had been staying there for a couple of months in the middle of all that snow and cold. Be careful if you’re a woman traveling alone. This happened more than once during my stay, and you may be treated like you did something wrong. The breakfast and smells weren’t my only concerns. If your room is near the desk, a man yells at people around 6 a.m. every day and wakes guests. One evening, another man followed me around the motel and to my room while making sexual comments. When I reported it, the response was to tell us to leave, not him. The hotel also kicked out an elderly couple who’d been there for months during the same storm. There are a few other things to know: if you’re close to the front desk, expect to be woken around 6 a.m. by a man yelling at people. The coffee is okay, but getting cream and sugar when they’re out can be a struggle. The two Hispanic cleaners were lovely and fast on the days they worked. Front desk bookings cost almost double what we paid online, and they seemed annoyed when we used Wyndham points for a free night. We also had two unexpected card charges, which they corrected quickly.

The comfortable mattress was the only decent part. The stair railings were literally coming apart, and there’s no elevator. The lobby smelled like a Colombian sauna, and the so-called queen beds were double beds at best. It’s a dump and not worth the money.

I needed a place to shower and rest during a trip, and left at 5:30 a.m. without even trusting the coffee. The cups were on a filthy tray. Since I’d prepaid online, I stuck it out rather than deal with finding another place late at night. I kept what I brought inside to a minimum so I wouldn’t take anything with me when I left. Never again. The room smelled of dirty dog and stale smoke. The mattress cover was badly stained, the bathroom repairs were poor, and the trash can was holding part of the carpet against the wall. The lobby was dirty and there was trash down the hall. The desk clerk seemed not to want to be there. Despite the room’s smell, they put a hold on my card for incidentals, including smoking, pets, or damage.

We checked in on a Saturday night and it was very quiet. Our room was perfectly clean, and the other family I saw there seemed satisfied too. Reviews may vary depending on when you visit. I had a medical emergency during my stay, and the staff were very helpful. I lost some belongings, including expensive items, but they recovered everything.
