The owner was really nice and accommodating with our small dog, which wasn’t the case at other motels nearby. The bathroom layout was very cramped for us pleasantly plump people, and even after letting the shower run for 20 minutes, we couldn’t get hot water. It’s still an option if you mainly need an economical place to sleep. There were also holes in the wall from people who clearly didn’t respect the room.
The hard floors were a plus, and the room was nice. The employees were so helpful, accommodating, and kind, always greeting me with a smile. It’s the best priced motel in town, and I’d happily stay again and again. Thanks for making our stay pleasant.
It’s an affordable, very clean motel, with kind and caring staff. Food places and gas stations are close by, and Chattanooga is an easy drive away. A nice place to take a break while exploring Tennessee. Five stars, highly recommended.
The place itself isn’t bad, but I had a frightening stay here a few years ago. The hotel is right on the main highway, and when the door was deadbolted, it still opened just by turning the handle. My toddler did it easily, which left me terrified she might get out onto the road. I could barely sleep for worrying about it. The owners didn’t seem concerned and were very rude when I brought it up.
I booked this place for the 127 yard sale because it’s close to Dayton TN, but the quality didn’t justify the price. The linens were dated and uncomfortable, the TV didn’t work, and the bathroom had such a strange, tight layout that getting onto the toilet meant squeezing in. A train passing at night made a decent sleep impossible. I don’t know if it’s American owned, but it definitely isn’t American operated.
