Being right on the beach at a reasonable price made me willing to put up with a lot, but those soft, mushy foam beds really weren't for me. It felt like a quick fix with the bed-in-a-box style. The hot water also took a lot of patience. The older property did have a working elevator, and I could bring my pet for a fair fee. The location and staff were very good, and the pool was excellent. The TVs were a decent size and worked well. Breakfast and room upkeep were only average. The coffee wasn't always fresh or ready, and the latte machine was broken several times. I'd like to see fresh breakfast items instead of those nasty packaged sandwiches. For the price and beach location, I'd sleep on the floor. With reasonable expectations, you can still have a good stay at a fair price. Would I come back? Maybe.

We only stayed one night, and the sunrise from the beach at 6 AM was lovely. Having beach access, the dog park, and the pool all on our floor made things really convenient. Our room was clean and roomy, with two beds for four of us, a great bathroom, and a little table and kitchen with a fridge. Breakfast was included, which was a nice extra. I liked the corn dogs more than the make-your-own waffles 😝. The washing machine and vending machine weren't working while we were there.

The staff were so accommodating, and the whole place felt clean and peaceful. I had a wonderful weekend getaway here with my boyfriend, our kids, and his mother. We had a view by the beach, plus a heated pool and breakfast in the morning. It was an amazing vacation, and I'll definitely be back!

I saw a black family being put out for not checking out by 11 a.m., while a white family across the hall left at the same time and wasn't told anything. The man who rented the room was trespassed, and then, as he was leaving, a woman with him was also trespassed while she was trying to get water in the lobby. It looked really bad. Maybe staff could be more patient with people next time. The man was a guest. Customers are always right.

We liked this little hotel enough to book another stay in March after visiting in mid-February. We were concerned it might be in busy Daytona, but its South Daytona location turned out to be perfect. The ground-floor room on the pool deck and ocean side worked so well with the kids that we booked the same one again. It was easy to get out to the pool and beach. The coffee machine might be my favorite part, honestly. So many choices, and available 24/7. The room was clean, breakfast had what we needed, and customer service was on point. We also met the owner, who was amazing. There are restaurants within an easy walk and a CVS pharmacy nearby with all the snacks to bring back. We used DoorDash for every meal, so there was no need to drive anywhere. There's even a Mini Potpot next to the CVS.
