Hawaiian Inn Studios

I’ve been here numerous times and never had a stay this terrible. I booked a ONE BEDROOM SUITE with TWO QUEEN beds separate from the rest of the suite, plus a full kitchen, living room with sofa bed, and an ocean view. I requested and got a high floor, room #510. When I opened the door, both beds were unmade with dirty sheets, and the garbage pails were full. I was nervous to go any further and told my husband I thought someone was staying there. I called the front desk to ask for housekeeping to put clean sheets on the beds, but nobody was available. The gentleman said they had nothing like the room I’d paid for or anything similar. He offered either a full refund so I could stay somewhere else, or room #329. I took 329 and he credited my card $30, but it was smaller than a 5×5 storage unit, with ONE full/queen bed and no ocean view. His attitude was basically, “I don’t care, take this room or find another hotel.” I won’t be back. Thanks for your hospitality.

I’ve never had trouble with the service or cleanliness, and I plan to keep visiting the Hawaiian Inn. It’s a classic hotel with great staff, another fabulous vacation in the books. Don’t listen to the Karen's out there posting bad reviews. Haters can stick with their bougie hotels elsewhere.

We loved our room and feel lucky to have found this place. The pool area is big with plenty of seating, and the grounds are kept clean by the hardworking maintenance guys who are always around. At the Tiki bar, the food is good, there are daily drink specials, and the friendly bar staff keep us coming back. Dave and Courtney had us stopping by for more. The front desk team were helpful and welcoming, and gave us good information about the area. Selena , Ofa, and Taylor made us feel welcome, while Charlene did a fantastic job keeping the room clean and making sure we had everything we needed. We’ve enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. The Hawaiian inn knows the meaning of Aloha. Mahalo nui loa to everyone who keeps the Aloha spirit at The Hawaiian Inn.

The beach view was perfect, and the room was spotless and updated. The shower had great water pressure, too. It’s a small motel with a bit of a fancy feel, but not too big, and it worked perfectly for our three-day Daytona weekend.
