Gloria and Ms Stella were awesome, those ladies deserve a raise. The location was great, but the room was disgusting and so uncomfortable that I didn’t even want to go complain at the desk. I paid $200, saw what the motel was like, packed my bags, and headed home at 10:30pm because I couldn’t sleep. I didn’t see any bugs, but I itched the whole time I was there, and the sheets had stains. If you’re fine laying your face on the ground, go ahead and book.

We stayed one night, and after just 10 minutes walking around the room, our white socks were black. The floors were sticky and dirty, and the room smelled gross. It was hard to even want to get into bed. This place could be great with clean rooms, but I wouldn’t return.

We packed up and checked out, but were told to contact Hopper, who would then let the owners know. A refund might come through, but they couldn’t promise it. My son has special needs and usually finds the positive in things, yet even he said he was ready to leave. He only wanted two nights at the beach for his birthday, and I’m so disappointed. A lot went wrong in the room: our key didn’t work, and although we booked a balcony and kitchen, we didn’t get them. There was a bug as soon as we walked in. Maintenance had to get the TV working, the tub felt like I could fall through to the first floor, drained poorly, and had no pressure. The AC sounded like an airplane landing, so we couldn’t turn it on. When I asked to move rooms, they said they were booked but were waiting to see if another guest showed up. Back in our room, the toilet wouldn’t flush either.

Room 403, the corner room, has been my best hotel stay so far, and I’ve stayed in a lot of places around the country. The balcony had an ocean view and privacy, with a partial ocean view from the front too. It was a good size, clean, and had a full fridge, stove, and everything needed to cook and eat. No one upstairs was stomping around. The bed was so soft I melted into it, there were plenty of TV channels, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The staff were great. The AC wouldn’t cool below 72, so it stayed warm all night, but this will still be my go-to in Daytona.

The room was clean, spacious, and tucked into a corner, with a partial ocean view and a private balcony. The bed was so soft I just sank into it. I’ve traveled a lot over the decades and stayed in plenty of hotels, but this one was by far the best. I live in Nashville, TN, and I’ll definitely make this my usual place when I’m in town. The ladies working there felt like they could be my sisters. A++++++
