The rooms were clean and great, and the staff were friendly throughout. Our only issue was finding roaches in two different rooms. It was race weekend, so there were no other rooms available. Staff said pest control had just been through and that can stir up bugs; they also thought the top floors were probably better than the lower ones. The manager was very kind and gave us a certificate for two free nights in the future. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us once we found the roaches. I’d suggest checking your room carefully, especially on the first floor. That was our only complaint, and we’d come back because the staff were lovely.

My stay was pleasant, thanks in large part to Danny Pohl, the Hotel Manager. He was kind and compassionate, and went above and beyond for everyone who came in, not just me. He handled an agitated customer’s call well, and patiently tried to satisfy another woman at the front desk who had a complaint. Alana(?) was also very polite. There was only one housekeeper at the time, and she was doing her best to clean rooms efficiently and thoroughly. One front desk clerk, Alik, was less attentive: on more than one occasion, I rang the bell three times in 10 minutes and he didn’t come to the desk. Still, I’d definitely stay again. Thanks to the people who made the visit pleasant.

I’ve been staying here for a couple of weeks for work and have no complaints. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the sheets and towles are clean too. The water gets hot, and I can sleep during the day without trouble even though I work overnight. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating. 10 out of 10, I recommend it!

The room problems were bad enough: dirty, smelly rooms, rusty or grimy appliances, and hallway noise at night that made it hard to sleep. The breakfast setup was often missing in the early morning, with little coffee available. When I showed staff photos of the filthy room and appliances, they said they knew and didn't want to discuss it. We switched to an upgraded room, but the unsanitary conditions continued. The bigger issue was the refund. I was told I’d get back the cost of my two-night stay, but seven days later there was still no refund. The hotel manager and general manager said they couldn’t do anything, even though they’d verbally agreed to return my money. Guest Relations said they would escalate it to the district manager. This company feels like a fraud. The staff seemed to lie to customers and avoid doing their jobs, which is no way to handle business. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
