Stay away. The place was dirty, and some very sketchy people hung around outside the rooms all night.

The bathroom was especially awful: bugs covered the counter because the window doesn’t seal, and the only light was tucked behind an old mirror, so it barely lit the room. There wasn’t an overhead light in the shower or bathroom either. I also found a dead roach on the floor, an unfinished closet, and furniture that looked like it came from a garage sale. The bedding needs to be much better, too. The whole room was disgusting, the worst I’ve ever stayed in. We booked through Expedia because the ratings looked very good, but the property seemed like a run-down, abandoned motel when we arrived, and the rooms were even worse. It was nothing like Expedia advertised. I don’t know whether management is new or has been there all along, but I’m telling people to stay away. I paid $304.00 up front and am tempted to ask for some of it back. Management, please take better care of the property, the rooms, and your guests.

The owners were incredibly nice, which makes it a shame that the motel is in such horrific shape. It was full of bugs, and the grounds weren’t well cared for. I’ve posted photos showing why I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I don’t know whether the current owners are new or have had the place for a while, but I’d strongly suggest gutting and renovating the whole property, or tearing it down and rebuilding a new motel under an entirely different name.

The location is great if you want to be near Daytona’s Main St., and the price wasn’t too bad. The rooms, though, weren’t in great condition. The blinds were broken, the sink was cracked and clogged, and the TV wasn’t even mounted on the wall.
