We checked out after one night and moved to another hotel. The roach my wife saw in the bathroom was the last straw. Breakfast was mediocre at best: the tea water was lukewarm, we had to ask and wait for coffee cups, the juice machine had only cranberry juice, and both waffle makers were broken. It felt like they weren't trying very hard. We had booked two rooms for four people for my daughter's graduation from Embry Riddle. We'd stayed here several times without issues, but this time things went downhill fast. Room 216's lock wouldn't work even after being re-keyed several times. The staff member on duty offered to let us in and said housekeeping would fix it the next day, but that meant we couldn't leave without needing help to get back in, so I asked to move. We got room 224, where the couch was torn and stained. In room 219, the HVAC didn't work; the people there had unpacked before realizing it wasn't cooling, then had to pack again and move to room 423. That left our group split across two floors. I don't recommend this hotel.

Janiel at the front desk made a big difference for us. He went out of his way to help with so many things from the moment we arrived, and was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. His support made the stay smoother and more enjoyable. Thank you, Janiel!

At checkout I told the manager we'd asked twice for the room to be cleaned and it still hadn't been done. She said rooms aren't cleaned until the fourth day, but couldn't explain why the bathroom hadn't been cleaned for three days or why the trash hadn't been emptied.

My first Home2 Suites stay was a huge disappointment, and I can't understand how this place is rated so well. The cleaners and other staff I encountered were very friendly. I mostly used the app and barely dealt with the front desk, but nobody told me I needed a parking pass. I also never got the usual concierge text welcoming me, sharing things to see, and asking if I needed anything. The room seemed broken in every way: no heat, poor water, a terrible bed, lamps falling off, and smelly carpet. It was also very loud because of poor insulation. I hope this isn't normal for these hotels, but I would never stay here again. I've never experienced a Hilton brand this poor.
