At least you can see the ocean across the street, and the place is near Main Street and the boardwalk. We didn't see any roaches, but the beds were really hard. The blankets had stains and cigarette burns, and the shower wasn't very clean. They charged us far too much for a room that should have cost $50 at most.

We stumbled on a little gem. It's a basic motel room, nothing fancy, but the place is quiet and clean. There's an old, peaceful beach-view charm here, and the sunrise over the ocean each morning was breathtaking. A little piece of heaven.

I love coming here for a week at a time, both on my way south and on the return north. They're always upgrading the place, and the rates are very good. The location is convenient too. It isn't on the ocean, but a second-floor room gives you a clear ocean view at no extra cost.

I was there with my autistic 8-year-old granddaughter. Under both beds, housekeeping had left trash, socks, and four pills lying out. That isn't cleaning under the beds.
