Skyway Motel

The price is usually right, and although the place is older, it's in a safe area. Lake Atlantic is right across the street.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Pam and her husband are so friendly, and the room service attendant was the best. Be nice to the people here and say hello to him if you stay.

We left after finding four roaches. I killed two, and the others got away. At $168 a night, I expected a nicer room, and when I asked for a discount, they said no. They offered a room switch or a full refund only if we left, so we left. The woman was rude and as nasty as the rooms, while her husband was the only professional one. She gave me attitude and no receipt to prove the refund. Honestly, spend the extra $50 for somewhere nicer.

This motel is right by the beach and has everything I needed: a fridge, decent A/C, a shower and tub, privacy curtains, two nightstands, a table and chairs, and a huge TV with Dish Network. The beds were large, comfortable, and clean, and the owners were kind. They’ll rent you an inexpensive room any time of day or any day of the week. I think reviews calling the owner a creep may come from ignorant tourists making racial assumptions. I’d recommend the place to friends.
