Best Western Plus Deridder Inn & Suites

The carpet smelled moldy and the room was nasty. We spent one night there while my husband was training for work in Derrider. It was horrible, especially with my one-month-old needing warm water for his milk and there being none. This place needs to upgrade its system.

At $165 a night, the breakfast was terribly done. We were in Room 109, a King Suite, and guests overhead sounded like they might come through the ceiling. Better hope you get a top-floor room. I'd upload a video if the site let me.

Everything was kept really clean, especially the breakfast area. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay.

The continental breakfast had been cleared away by the time we got downstairs at 9:10, since it ended at 9. We were looking forward to it, so that was a little disappointing, though no big deal. Otherwise, the place was very nice. The pool looked clean and pretty, and even the housekeeper was sweet and friendly when we left the next morning. Our double queen room was spotless, neat, and smelled freshly washed, with no dust, odd smells, or dirt in the floor corners. The tub wasn't stained, the bathroom was very clean, and there were plenty of towels and other accommodations. The lobby and halls were clean and smelled good too. Booking by phone for our one-night stay was easy, and the hotel clerk was so sweet.
