The hotel had a strong scent throughout. It smelled pleasant, but it was definitely too much. Otherwise, everything was great: a really nice room, a casino, and close access to everything we wanted to visit. I'd suggest booking one of the higher rooms for the beautiful views.

The bed was hard as a rock, and for a couple of hours overnight we heard what sounded like an unbalanced washing machine spinning. We were also uncomfortable with the accessible room we were given. The shower was tiny and splashed water onto the floor, while the vanity was small and had no shelf underneath. The sofa sat in a corner facing away from the TV, so watching anything from it wasn't possible. We stayed for three days in early March. The hotel was quiet, and we never shared an elevator with another guest, so it didn't seem very busy. We asked the next morning to move to a regular junior suite. The receptionist said they couldn't do anything because we'd booked through a third party, and that no rooms were available anyway. She said the third party had reserved that room type for us, though my reservation didn't say that. I checked online and could have booked a non-accessible junior suite, so I know some were available. At checkout, the desk woman seemed annoyed when I asked for a receipt for the room charges. She didn't ask how the stay was or wish me a nice day. I won't stay there again. I don't appreciate being treated poorly for booking through a third party, and that's never happened to me at another hotel. The hotel could have made this right. If they don't want third-party bookings, they shouldn't release rooms to those sites.

We only had a short stay, but it was a lovely one. We got an upgrade to a spacious room with a nice view, and I used the exercise room in the morning. We had to pick up snacks at Starbucks because the regular restaurant didn't open until 8 am.

There's plenty to do right on site, so you can stay in if you feel like it. The beds are comfortable and the rooms clean. There's a parking fee, but they give you free play to offset it. I love staying at DoubleTree.
