Holiday Inn Express & Suites Detroit - Dearborn

Everything was spotless, from the rooms and hallways to the breakfast area, lobby, elevators, and even the parking lot. The furnishings and decor were in excellent shape, with no noticeable wear. Everyone on staff was politely friendly and welcoming. This is my new go-to for our trips to Detroit!

The manager and staff were excellent, top-notch, to be exact. They took care of every part of my stay with urgency and care, and breakfast is always hot and plentiful. I’ll definitely stay again!

After the second night, housekeeping didn’t service our room at all. We got no cleaning and no fresh towels. When we asked, they said housekeeping had already left for the day, so we were stuck without basic amenities. There had already been a problem after our first night: we came back to find the toilet clogged and not properly cleaned. They moved us to another room, then later asked us to move back once the original room was supposedly fixed. That back-and-forth was a real inconvenience on a short stay. This Holiday Inn Express was frustrating, with multiple service failures and poor handling by staff. I expect basic cleanliness and consistency, and neither was delivered. I wouldn’t stay here again.

‘Preciate you Stella! I’d give her ten stars. When we arrived, she was so helpful in sorting out an extension to our stay. She could tell I was tired from the road, figured out what we needed, and made us feel incredibly welcome with her great personality.
