Comfort Inn & Suites River City Decatur

The room was roomy, and the bed was really comfortable. It's a pet-friendly, nicely updated hotel, and the rate was very reasonable. We left too early for the free breakfast, but did try the coffee, which was pretty good.

The breakfast was okay, and the eggs were dry, but it got us going. We were only there for one night. The rooms were clean, though the beds were hard enough that we put the comforter underneath us for extra comfort. The ice machines on floors one and two were broken, while the third-floor one worked. Only one elevator was in service.

I've never been let down here. Check-in is easy, and they grant my special requests without making a fuss. I check the rooms and bathrooms closely every time, and they're always clean. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

I found the room clean and comfortable, and it was near the breakfast area. The hot and cold options were filling enough that I didn't need to look for breakfast elsewhere, which I often do at hotels. They had mini cheese omelets, warm biscuits, a meat item, and hot gravy at the Comfort Inn & Suites River City Decatur. I would've liked bananas too, but I was satisfied with the selection.
