They followed us toward the back parking lot because we had a service dog, and they were rude. I’d give zero stars. The only positive is that they gave us a full refund, but that doesn’t make up for everything that happened.

For an older building, the unit was very clean and comfortable. The sink was clogged, but I fixed it. I thought the $20 deposit on top of the $90 rent was a bit much for a regular weeknight. At checkout, the woman behind the camera said she’d be right back and went to inspect the room. She returned saying it was filthy! 😆 The remote was on the bed with its battery out. If it had a back, that might not have happened. She tried to keep the whole deposit, but after several minutes of back and forth we settled on $10. I’m not going to worry about the rest of my money. I could’ve stayed almost anywhere in Decatur for $100 a night.

The manager was really nice and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Great quality for the price. I’d recommend it if you need an affordable place to stay in Decatur.

For $145 a night, I expected a lot more. The service was awful, and they were rude and had an attitude about everything. They told me there’d be breakfast laid out with coffee, but this morning there was no food at all, just one pot of burnt, watery coffee with the cheapest creamer and sugar. The phone looked like it was from 1980, and so did the bathtub. The room was barely decorated and gave me crack motel vibes. They’re supposed to return $45 as long as you haven’t burned holes in the curtains, used any plastic cups, dirtied towels, or broken or ruined furniture. The furniture part is understandable, but still, $45? I’ve got a bad feeling they’ll come in and claim something is damaged, even though the place looks better than when we arrived. We had to clean it ourselves because the maid did a terrible job.
