Legacy Place is just across the street, with high end restaurants, an Apple Store, and Whole Foods, and there are also great restaurants right next door, plus an urgent care. Rooms are updated and comfortable. The location and value are great, whether you're visiting family or friends or just need a bed off the highway.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even let us use a conference room briefly for a family gathering. The place was clean, but it's showing its age: our room looked very dated and the minor upgrades weren't done well. The sink stopper didn't work, the shower shelf came unglued and fell, and the internet was horrible. Breakfast was basic and just okay. Without that friendly staff, I'd have given it three stars.

I booked through super.com because I needed to reach work during the upcoming blizzard. Reviews had mentioned sinks needing repair and no hot water, and when I checked in, the shower had no hot water and made a loud screeching sound. I called the desk; someone came up, said something needed fixing, and said they'd return. At almost 11 at night, repairs were the last thing I wanted. Worse, the repair person was facetiming what looked like a family member while working. The next morning I contacted the hotel as the owners had asked, but the desk said they couldn't handle it because I'd booked through a third party app and told me to contact the booking site. Super.com said the hotel needed to handle it and couldn't do anything unless the hotel contacted them. The owners hadn't provided a specific number or person to call, so I was bounced between two companies and got nowhere. It felt like each side was pinning it on the other. The worker had come to fix things the first night, but after they left I got in the shower and someone knocked. I ignored it at first because I was showering, but the knocking continued. I had to get out, open the door, and hand the worker their cell phone, which they'd left in the bathroom. This should be on your cameras if you think it didn't happen. I got only one hot shower during my two days there, because the hot water failed again after work the second night. I doubt anything will be resolved, but to be fair, if the owners respond again, please include a contact number and the name of someone who can actually help. I've seen the owners reply generically to similar reviews, saying they'd fix things, but the issues are clearly still there. Please repair problems before renting out rooms that don't work.

The pool was out of order when my 6 year old daughter and I stayed, and it was a huge deal for her. The woman handling refunds agreed to give us 1 night, not 2, because the pool wasn't ready for swimming as of March 2025. She promised me a night when it was operational. She hasn't called yet, and it's almost been a full year. I look forward to taking my now 7 Year old daughter for a swim and a movie. Thank you DEDHAM HOLIDAY INN. We hope to hear from you soon!
