Worldmark Deer Harbor

The staff really made our stay. They were welcoming and helpful, and went out of their way with information and resources. My wife and I spent two nights in a deluxe studio, which was clean and cozy. Having a private jacuzzi on the balcony was such a treat, and the quiet marina setting made for lovely views and peaceful walks. It's a relaxing spot, but there aren't many restaurants, shops, or entertainment options within walking distance. Some restaurants and activities are only open or available toward the weekend, Thursday to Sunday. Nearby towns are just a short drive away if you want more dining or things to do. We'd highly recommend WorldMark Deer Harbor for a clean, comfortable getaway with great service, especially if a laid-back stay is what you're after.

The view was beautiful, and the hot tub was wonderful. It's nice and quiet, with a few things to do even though there isn't a lot available. I have a handicap, and it was good that the area we stayed in had semi-accessible rooms. Staff were nice. We found a lid from something under the dinner table. I had to clean the underside of the coffee pot a lot, and the living room table had visible cup rings and felt sticky. It was good to see maintenance and repairs being done, though some of the work looked DIY rather than professional. Cooking in the room is limited, with no oven, but communal cooking is available. There's a mini fridge, and it worked.

The units don't have ovens, though there is one in the office. The fridge is only hotel-room size, and the front desk can give you ice. There's a swimming pool, and each unit has its own hot tub on the deck. Only some units have water views.
