Sapphire Inn and Suites

The parking lot is a little small, and that’s my only complaint. Otherwise, this is a clean, quiet motel with very friendly staff.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly. My room had recently been freshened up, and a crew was painting the exterior over the weekend I stayed. More vending choices would be useful. A continental breakfast would make the stay better too.

The price is very cheap, so I’d recommend it if you’re on a budget. The shower was clean, the rooms weren’t bad, and I can’t complain about the service. Housekeeping looked after things when I left the room. The location felt kind of ghetto-ish, though not too bad so far. My main concern was that the door to room 108 was hard to close.

The shower was nice, but the bed didn’t have sheets. It had a white throw over it, a microfiber blanket underneath, and then a paper-thin decorative blanket on top. The TV remote kept stopping; once it started working, you’d better not pause for more than a minute. The posted information said breakfast was complimentary, but there wasn’t any. Online, the room showed as $38. The lady was disrespectful and told me the night would cost $54, then I went outside and came back and she charged me $65. Parking is so tight that I somehow got eight white dings on my driver’s door in one night. I’d only come back if I had to, especially for $65.
