White Oak Inn & Suites

The staff were kind, courteous, and ready to help, and I found the room clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast had a good mix of options and the quality was there too. I enjoyed my time here and plan to stay again. Looking forward to the next visit!

We were there in early June for a funeral, and a tornado came through during our stay. The hotel had a solid security plan in place, and the staff were very helpful with it. There was just one person working that night, but they still did a great job. The climate control was great too. Keep up the good work.

The casino was dirty, the food there was terrible, and the hot tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The rooms were filthy too, and I wouldn’t recommend the White Oak hotel or casino. My son and I booked three nights there for a fishing trip in the deer river area. They say they welcome outdoorsmen, but that wasn’t our experience. We cleaned our fish somewhere else and only stored them in the room fridge. At checkout, I paid the three-night bill with my US Visa. Later that week, my wife spotted an extra $100.00 charge on our account. A woman at the hotel told me it was an extra cleaning fee for cleaning fish in the room. I asked for the manager to call so we could discuss it, but nobody from the hotel got back to me. To me, that’s legalized theft. I’d bet this has happened to other people too. The hotel is third-rate at best.

The room itself was okay, and the bed was actually decent, but there was a big crack in the TV. We went to the pool, where we had to get towels from the front desk for some reason, and the kiddie pool looked gross. My Mother had a free-room offer from the casino for my birthday, so we came. Apparently, you have to put $100 in your account to get the free room. Wasn’t a fan.
