Decoplage Horacio - South Beach

I’ve owned here for years, live here regularly, and also work as a Realtor selling and renting in the building, where I manage more than 30 apartments. It takes a village to build a good community, and I’m proud of Decoplage. South Beach suits urban people, while Decoplage has a jet-set feel and is about half an hour from Miami International Airport. The location is hard to beat: across from the famous Ritz Carlton Hotel, with one of the world’s best beaches right behind the building. From the pool deck you can see the boardwalk, palm trees, white sand, and the Atlantic’s beautiful colors. The gym is well equipped, there’s laundry on every floor, and Wi-Fi throughout. Valet parking is available, as are a children’s playroom and a large, air-conditioned community room off the lower lobby with a library, ping pong, billiards, and a piano. The lobby and elevators have been renovated, and a new Port Cochere and updated hallways are planned. The new board is making a lot of improvements. Work has caused little inconvenience to residents, and the experience should be better still once the projects are done. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and the team is friendly. Like any community, there are rules: wear clothes and shoes in common areas, keep things quiet after 10:00 PM, don’t hang towels over balcony railings or leave belongings in the hall, and don’t smoke. Pets aren’t allowed, except service dogs and ESA with proper documentation. Online approval is fast, and rentals must be at least 30 days. Be sure you know where you’re going and choose carefully, since some apartments are old and others renovated. Hope to see you there. Thank you.

I had a terrible experience with the valet. I worked nearby and had to use the service. I was told it cost $10, and I sometimes tipped. Once, after I’d barely earned anything that day, I didn’t add a tip. The supposed boss then said I had to pay $13, basically making a tip mandatory, even though the workers barely greeted me and sped through the valet in my car. Later, a valet got angry that I didn’t tip and said something to my face before slamming the door in my face. Today I was sent home early from work and made no tips, so I sent the $10 from my bank account by Zelle. When I went in and said I’d sent it, he demanded $13. I said I hadn’t made a dime, so how could I give a mandatory tip? He claimed he charges everyone that amount, but that’s not true: my coworkers pay $10. I said it was disrespectful and that I had dashcam footage of them speeding in my car. He got angry, bragged about his money, called me broke for working on the beach, and got in my face. I’m 18 and he’s nearly 40. Disrespectful people and awful service. I don’t recommend them.

We stayed a week at Decoplage condo #1244, and the one-bedroom was quiet, spotless, and furnished with what we needed for a week or longer. Our private balcony faced the pool, with gorgeous ocean views. Lincoln Rd is close by for shopping and restaurants, and the famous South Beach is easy to reach. I’d recommend it for a vacation if you want a quality place with convenient access to everything.

A valet attendant nearly ran me over today and wouldn’t stop. He was a man in his 20s, with tan skin, short wavy hair, and a large nose. Be careful, as they seem to cut costs by hiring inexperienced young attendants. Please check who was driving the white charger on 5/2/26 at 7:20 pm est.
