Berkshire Beach Club

Pam, the hotel manager, was so friendly and made us feel at home. We had a really enjoyable week here and are already planning to return. It’s a small resort with the amenities we needed, including a pool and hot tub, and it sits right on the beach near the pier.

The suite needs some updating, and the kitchen could use more supplies, though the manager may have extra things to lend. We also had trouble getting the shower and tub water to work comfortably. The AC wasn’t even throughout the suite, so our toddler ended up sleeping with us. Still, the pool area was nice, staff and other guests were friendly, and the service was good. We appreciated having a bathtub for our toddler, and the manager tried her best to let us stay a bit past checkout. Great location too. I’d recommend Berkshire and come back.

I won’t be returning, though Deerfield Beach itself is a nice place to visit, with a great beach and some good restaurants. The resort’s location is great, and the pool deck and spa are nice, right by the beach. The rooms were dreadful: no ceiling fans or bathroom exhaust fan, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The kitchen was tiny, the ice maker didn’t work, and the one we were told would arrive Tuesday never showed up. You even had to open the fridge to get into the silverware drawer.

The apartments are spacious and nicely finished, and there are only 13 of them. The manager goes out of her way to help. It’s about a five-minute walk into town for restaurants, with a beautiful warm ocean and miles of soft sandy beach nearby. There’s also a nice fishing pier with plenty to catch. This quiet little gem has everything going for it.
